Rangers - 9 games on the road to open the season (MSG renovations - crap, just blow it up).

That's worse than the Circus Trip.

If Q was the coach they would lost 11 games on that 9 game road trip....

Actually, they almost did (not a good trip - 2-6 so far, I think).

With Pirri, Morin, Mills called up, I would think they need some experience - even Beach's kind.

What did he do to get himself kicked out of Sweden?

Why sit Smith for a 30 year old career AHL player???

How about: haven't gotten much out of Smith - let's see what Mills can do.

How about: have had trouble on the PK, let's see what Mills can do.

Maybe it won't work, but we've criticized so many aspects of their play so far this year - how can we complain when the FO/coach try new things?

I guess I should feel bad about being labeled a Q lover.....I guess having an appreciation for the guy who coached my favorite team to two Stanley Cups in 4 years after decades of bad is irrational.

I guess I'm suppose to respect the opinions of the lunatic tin foil hat crowd who posts things such...."winning in spite of him"....."barely outcoached Babcock(what does that mean?)".....and other posts written by the padded room crowd in between drool drops.

I guess I'm suppose to hate the man who coached a team with 2 1/2 lines, 3 dmen, and a rookie goal tender to a game 7 OT loss in the first round after half the roster from the Stanley Cup a year before was turned over, guys like Duncan Keith were physically exhausted from the year before because not only did they have a cup run but also the grind of an Olympic schedule as well.....I mean he had John Scott, Fernando Pisani, and Jack Skille on this team....we still should have won the cup!

I guess I'm suppose to want the man fired who lost in the first round of the 2011-2012 post season....even though they didn't have home ice....and had one of our best players lay motionless on the ice after a jarring hit. I mean....Andrew Brunette could have picked up the slack right!!!

Buy hey no way does he deserve credit for winning a second stanley cup with the same goal tender who pooped the bed a year before, got guys like Frolik to buy into being a pk killing role player....new when to limit the ice time of a struggling Nick Leddy in the play offs.....made the adjustments to the adjustments made by Detroit but baaaaaarely outcoached Mike Babcock to come back from a 3 win deficit.......learned how to beat a team that was clogging up the neutral zone in the Stanley Cup Finals and win it in six games......

But hey the guys a bum......anyone could win a Cup with this team.....I mean Vigneault did in Vancouver and he had great goaltending, a deep D, loaded on offense...Melrose did in LA when he had Gretzky, Robitaille, Coffey, Granato...etc.....I mean if Krecij wouldn't have gotten hurt the Bruins would have won the cup for sure!! Even though Bickel had a severely sprained knee, Hossa couldn't feel his leg, Handzus was a walking game of operation..... toews had a broken hand, Sharp was playing with a bad shoulder......excuses, excuses.......oh wait.....

Smith was a -2 last game with around 7 minutes of ice time. Pretty lackluster, so I am not surprised he's in the pressbox.

Mills is an energy bottom-six forward who has done a couple of NHL stints in New Jersey (also went to Yale) and I think has worked hard to get a shot, and he's getting it because ol' man Handzus is out for a while.

If you really want to compare Mills and Smith, as a "career AHLer" Mills has played five more NHL games then Smith has to this point. By your logic, what does that make Smith?

The way I see it, Smith is out for Morin, who everyone and their mother thought should be on the roster to begin with, and "old, slow, waste of space" Handzus is out for Mills.

As it has been with Beach to this point, it's not as much about what he did but what he didn't do.

Who assisted on Q's cup winning goals? I missed that.

Comedy how everyone hails Q for Detroit series, when one would wonder if they had just decided to play their game from the outset, what it all would have looked like? Instead, Babcock jedi mind tricked Q into playing Bollig, sitting Stalberg and letting the opponent dictate the series. I mean, it took a team full of NHL scouts and front office people to see that Babcock played Kronwall 3 number 5 defensemen and a number 7. But lets worry about Jordan Tootoo, who never even dressed. But by all means, lets ignore the fact that Q changed his lineup, one that had not struggled the whole year practically, to adjust to a weaker foe. A much weaker foe.

That was just genius.

I guess we have to wait until after the season, when the hawks don't win a cup to criticize, or more like in my situation, question Q. This guy should run for office or cure cancer. Perhaps, he can take over for the most interesting man in the world, should he retire.

Both of you are extreme debaters like Ted Cruz and Harry Reid: claiming the other said something he never said.

Enough already - it's boring.
